Alabama football cornerback Jahlil Hurley is set to enter the transfer portal when it opens Monday, he announced Tuesday via X on social media. Pete Nakos of On3 originally shared the news on social media via Hurley’s agent, then Hurley quoted it by saying "Gods plan, i’m just living it."

A former four-star prospect, Hurley originally came to Alabama as a member of the Crimson Tide’s 2023 recruiting class out of in-state Florence High School. There, Hurley ranked as the nation’s No. 50 overall player in the cycle according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, as well as the No. 5 overall cornerback nationally.
