Two people are dead after a shooting on Columbus’ east side Tuesday night. Officers responded to a call of a shooting at approximately 9:46 p.m. on the 1200 block of Carolwood Avenue, according to a Columbus police dispatcher.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, officers were called to the 1200 block of Carolwood Avenue, off of East Livingston Avenue, around 9:45 p.m.

Columbus police homicide detectives were on the scene until early Wednesday morning after a reported shooting left two dead on the city's East Side.

One person was killed and another injured in a shooting Friday morning on Columbus' Near East Side.
