The Detroit Red Wings fell to the Vancouver Canucks 5-4 in overtime Sunday, with left wing Jake DeBrusk scoring a hat trick, including the game-winner in overtime.

Goalie Cam Talbot left midway through the Detroit Red Wings' 5-4 overtime loss to the Vancouver Canucks, but Ville Husso got the Wings to OT.

Jake DeBrusk scored his third goal of the game, at 4 minutes of overtime, giving the Canucks a 5-4 victory over the Red Wings. DeBrusk took a handoff from Elias Pettersson and blistered a shot past goaltender Ville Husso.

Red Wings forward Lucas Raymond continued his tear, scoring a goal for the fifth consecutive game, but the Wings ultimately fell just short. On Sunday, the Wings will have to rebound against a good Canucks team with an early wake-up call, but the good news is the 12:30 p.m. start will be even earlier for their West-Coast opponents.
