Kirk Cousins called U.S. Bank Stadium home from 2018 to 2023 as the starting quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings, and for the first time since his move to the Atlanta Falcons, he is facing his former team.

Though he opted not to exchange pleasantries with his former teammates before the game, Kirk Cousins made time for all of that after his Atlanta Falcons walked away with a 42-21 loss to the Vikings.

Then, as Atlanta's offense walked onto the field after the opening kickoff and Cousins was announced as their starting quarterback, it was mostly loud boos from the raucous home crowd in Minneapolis — mixed in with a few fans standing and clapping for their old QB.
