Currently, according to Boeing, the company employs 7,800 people total at the two locations in North Charleston and its West Campus in Orangeburg. The expansion is planned for the North Charleston campuses at 5400 International Blvd. and 9775 Patriot Blvd. (Airport and North campuses), and would not include the Orangeburg site.
