On Tuesday, members of the Kapoor family, including Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to extend an invitation for the upcoming Raj Kapoor Film Festival.

In order to celebrate and respect the contributions made by legendary actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor to the Indian Cinema, the Kapoor family has planned a festival which will take place from December 13 to December 15.

The Kapoor family, on Wednesday, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi ahead of Raj Kapoor's 100th birth anniversary. To honour Raj Kapoor and his contributions to Indian Cinema, the Kapoors have planned 'Raj Kapoor 100 Film Festival' which will take place from December 13 to 15. December 14 will mark the legendary actor's 100th birthday.

The Kapoor family, including Ranbir, Alia, and Kareena, met Prime Minister Modi in Delhi to invite him to Raj Kapoor's centenary celebrations. Dressed in traditional attire, they presented a personal invitation for the event honoring the legendary filmmaker and actor.

Actors Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Karisma Kapoor were part of the entourage which arrived to the capital for a meeting with PM Modi.

In one of the videos, Kareena was seen asking the organisers about the distance between the airport and PM Modi’s house. “How long to PM’s residence?" she asked as she waited with a few Kapoor family members.
