An Arizona man was arrested Monday after allegedly threatening to kill President-elect Donald Trump in a series of Facebook videos, including one in which he appears to hold up an AR-15-style rifle, according to court documents.

An Arizona man is facing a felony charge of threatening President-elect Donald Trump after allegedly making several online threats against the former president and his family.

Officially called a canvass in Arizona, the certification of votes drew heightened attention in 2020 and 2022 as some candidates denied their losses.

President-elect Donald Trump pitched a 25% tariff on goods from Mexico and Canada, two of Arizona's major import partners.

At the statewide election canvass in 2020, then-Gov. Doug Ducey famously silenced his cellphone while receiving a call from then-President Trump. Trump and his allies attempted to overturn Joe Biden's win in Arizona and nationally in the Electoral College.

For now, providers will have discretion in performing abortions beyond 15 weeks. Legal challenges are expected within days, Attorney General Kris Mayes said at a news conference celebrating expanded access. "The position of the state of Arizona will be that we agree that abortion is legal in our state," Mayes said.

President-elect Donald Trump locked in Republican victories in all of Arizona’s GOP-leaning or competitive congressional districts.

Arizona voters have passed a constitutional amendment guaranteeing abortion access up to fetal viability. t’s a major win in a battleground state for advocates of the measure who have been seeking to expand access.

But two of his fellow Democratic state elected officials aren't quite convinced. The comments came as Arizona officially certified the 2024 election results.

The new policy, which extends the limit from 15 weeks to the point of fetal viability, has been enshrined in the Arizona Constitution.

Arizona officially certified the results of the 2024 General Election Monday morning. The election results had been already certified at the county levels last week, allowing for the recount process to begin for some races.
